You know I am trying to think of the artist who used this song but I cannot remember her name. Tweet's song, Call Me, definitely has an Indian influence and sound too.

I am an avid user of last.fm and heard the sample when I was listening to Indian radio. But the beauty through out of this is how musicians are influenced by other cultures in their music. This is why Beyonce is collaborating with Shakira for they are appealing to two crowds which are the urban and Hispanic communities. Though I have not heard the song, Beautiful Liar, I have heard that the video is a mind trip.

Also, did you know that Maxwell's This Woman's Work was originally written and produced by a white female singer by the name of Kate Bush. I did not know this until this summer. I thought it was all Maxwell's doing but I prefer his version over her song. It is a beautiful song and I give Kate Bush all love for writing it. But, for me, I prefer Maxwell's voice because he makes me lose my mind! Here is Kate's version.

[sorry for the long comment but I am a serious music junkie! Check my music profile and add me if you are on last.fm]
